The Society publishes an occasional series of works by our members covering a range of topics of interest to the genealogist or social or local historian from estate records, census returns to school registers etc. Each has been expertly researched by the author from sources in national repositories in Ireland or indeed, from sources in the Society’s Archives. As genealogists writing and publishing works for other genealogists, this series is unique in Ireland and the variety of topics covered is testament to the many genealogical interests shared by our members. These volumes deserve to be on the bookshelf of any self respecting genealogist or historian with an interest in Ireland.
